We went through Kibo Guides when I went, I'd highly suggest them! We didn't pay the fees personally while we went in, it was part of the payment with the guide company. From my personal experience, the roads are not that bad. If you can, let your guide drive with the roof off so you can stand up while driving. The days in the cars are long and its good to move. Getting to see a Leopard is SO lucky. We didn't see one the four days we were there.

I've been working at the new port in Sendou for 6 months now. Overall the people are welcoming and friendly. Dakar is chaotic and all the cars have battle scars on them. Dont expect getting bumped and handing oit insurance details🤣🤣. Food is insanely expensives but the markets are cheap. Saly is by far my favorite town. Overall a nice experience for me😁
